This week, I learned how to use photoshop to create panoramas. Using photomerge, I was able to stitch multiple pictures together, and the results were cool.

This weekend I chose to go out to shoot nature. I really enjoyed the fall colors, but as I went out to shoot, the clouds began to cover the sun, but as I continued shooting, the sun came out and lit up the greens and reds in the photos. I went to Lillie Park to shoot, and saw lots of crazy stuff, including a proposal! Overall I really enjoyed the autumn nature. f/16, 1/640, ISO 800
I adjusted the colors and toned down the exposure This week we worked with Photoshop compositing, and I chose to put Saline High School into the world of Blue's Clues.
This week I chose to focus on sports. On Thursday evening I went to the Saline Junior Varsity and Varsity soccer games to shoot. The JV boys played very well, defeating Dexter 2-0 to close out a successful season. The Varsity team did not fare as well as the JV team, falling 2-0 to an undefeated Dexter team. During this assignment I grappled with my camera's exposure, trying to use a fast shutter speed while maintaining enough light entering the camera. I really enjoyed being able to shoot such an exciting evening of soccer Clayton Jarvey celebrating the final goal of the JV team's season
f/5.6, 1/800, ISO 1600 I cropped this photo a bit, and did some retouching to bring out the colors more This week my client and I had a photoshoot planned for Sunday afternoon, but we had to postpone to Sunday evening due to the cloudy day. I thought the photos turned out quite well, and the light really seemed to accentuate the features of my client. My client seemed to be getting restless towards the end of our appointment, but we were able to finish with some nice pictures. Ferris B. Winslow
f/5.0, 1/80 ISO 1000 This week I chose to take Still Life pictures of some of my Chacos. I used a gray bed sheet as a backdrop, though part of me wishes I had used a more natural background for these outdoorsy shoes. f/4.0, 1/40 ISO, 160
I adjusted the color on this photo as I felt it was too warm. I also adjusted the brightness a bit, and cropped it. |
